About
Hey, I'm Fran.
I’m all about coding, outdoor sports, board games, writing, productivity hacks, and I can’t resist a good puzzle! I love sharing experiences and knowledge with others, too.
Growing up, I was always caught between two worlds: the structured logic of tech and the free-spirited vibe of art. Then one day, I stumbled upon software engineering, and everything just clicked. It’s the perfect mix of problem-solving and creativity—basically, the art and science mashup I was looking for.
I’ve been in the software engineering game since 2018. After college, I built apps remotely from Bolivia for all sorts of startups around the globe. Then I took a leap to Madrid, where I worked on search-related projects for Amazon. Now, I’m in the USA working with The Washington Post, and I’m always excited to tackle new challenges and learn something fresh along the way.
So, what’s on my plate these days? Right now, I’m diving into a master’s in Artificial Intelligence at The University of Texas at Austin and currently into the sport of triathlons, while building this blog as a fun coding project outside of work.
I love meeting new people, so feel free to reach out! Let’s connect and learn from each other.
